The Bindaraay (River) is a sacred place. Its natural channels and tides flow with an abundant ecosystem filled with fish, oysters, prawns, and squid. Our families have gathered here to swim and spend quality time together during the spring and summer months. The river holds deep spiritual significance, serving as a place of food and nourishment plus cleansing for the soul and spirit.
