This original painting, Gaagal dreaming represents the healing energy of the ocean and how it brings so many people together and holds such a special place in one’s heart. For many it’s a place of cleansing the spirit. Particularly for Gumbaynggirr mob as the Gaagal is our totem. Gaagal dreaming is also a reminder that water carries memory and that this liminal space also raised and supported all those that came before.
