This original painting celebrates the beautiful dance between the masculine and feminine. In Gumbaynggirr culture, the moon is a man in the sun is a woman. We need equal amounts of both to find the balance, not only in our environment but in our spiritual & emotional wellbeing. The birthing caves at the bottom of the painting are where we all come from, our beautiful Mother Earth. The circles in the middle are meeting places where we all meet and come together to practice our culture and to share food and hold ceremony.
