Jali-Mirranya - Break the first light, dawn.

Jali-Mirranya speaks to that quiet moment when darkness begins to lift and the first light moves across Country.

The soft layers of pink, ochre and warm earth tones hold the feeling of dawn slowly unfolding a new day arriving, gentle but full of strength. The forms move through the work like pathways, hills and light stretching across the landscape.

This painting is about renewal, hope and beginning again. That first light reminds us that no matter what has come before, there is always another morning, another chance to move forward, and another moment to reconnect with Country, family and ourselves.
