Migaana, Original Painting

Migaana

Migaana means to revolve, rotate, spin, go round in a circle.

Movement is a very important and a necessary part of our life. A corroboree is a traditional dance that tells you something, such as animal movements. We walk, jump, climb and swim. And knowledge is passed down from elders for many generations.

This original artwork also forms the foundation of the Migaana Ochre textile print, bringing its story of movement into the Day to Night collection.
