Giinagay! Miimi & Jiinda is an award-winning Aboriginal lifestyle brand founded in 2018 by Melissa Greenwood, a proud Gumbaynggirr, Bundjalung, and Dunghutti woman. Melissa is a First Nations Artist, Indigenous Fashion Designer and acclaimed Aboriginal children's book Author. Inspired by her strong connection to Gumbaynggirr Country and supported by her mother, Lauren Jarrett - a cultural custodian, elder, and master weaver - the brand embodies a commitment to Indigenous storytelling, culture, and artistry.
As trailblazers, Miimi & Jiinda became the first Australian Indigenous brand to feature on Channel 9’s The Block and collaborated with major retailers, including Adairs, SEED, and Jurlique. Specialising in unique Indigenous artworks and sustainable fashion made in Australia, they prioritise caring for Country and uplift their community through mentorship, employment opportunities, and monetary donations.

Beautiful designed tshirt! Quality material. The shape is very flattering. Sometimes I vary with T-shirt sizes from a 8-12 (womanly figure and boobs). I ordered size 10 and it was perfect. I am ordering the T-shirt in white because it’s such a pretty design and different to all the other flag tshirts I have purchased. I would highly recommend Miimi & Jiinda. I will be purchasing a dress too once I make up my mind because there are so many options!

After a minor issue, Abe and Melissa went above and beyond. When Natasha opened her very own original piece, her face beamed with joy. The finished product was beautiful beyond what we had envisaged! Little tears appeared in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. This has been an enormous month for her and having her own piece of Miimi and Jinda artwork (to go with all her linen!) has been the icing on the cake. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💙.
