Giinagay! Miimi & Jiinda is a matriarchal Aboriginal lifestyle brand born from the bond between mother and daughter on Gumbaynggirr Country. Founded by Melissa Greenwood, a proud Gumbaynggirr, Bundjalung, and Dunghutti woman, the brand embodies a commitment to storytelling, culture, and artistry.
What started as a moment of healing in 2018—painting and weaving together—grew into a powerful platform for sharing the strength of First Nations women. Each piece, whether it’s a hand-painted artwork, a woven garment, or a children’s book, carries deep cultural significance and reflects our journey.
We’re proud to be the first Aboriginal-owned brand to collaborate with major retailers, and we actively work to uplift our community through mentorship, paid opportunities, and meaningful collaborations.
At Miimi & Jiinda, we welcome everyone who approaches with curiosity and respect. This is more than a brand; it’s about connection, culture, and creating space for our stories to be seen and celebrated.

Beautiful designed tshirt! Quality material. The shape is very flattering. Sometimes I vary with T-shirt sizes from a 8-12 (womanly figure and boobs). I ordered size 10 and it was perfect. I am ordering the T-shirt in white because it’s such a pretty design and different to all the other flag tshirts I have purchased. I would highly recommend Miimi & Jiinda. I will be purchasing a dress too once I make up my mind because there are so many options!

After a minor issue, Abe and Melissa went above and beyond. When Natasha opened her very own original piece, her face beamed with joy. The finished product was beautiful beyond what we had envisaged! Little tears appeared in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. This has been an enormous month for her and having her own piece of Miimi and Jinda artwork (to go with all her linen!) has been the icing on the cake. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💙.

I bought the Baarlu swimsuit and I love love love it!. The colours are so vibrant, it is even more beautiful in real life.
